The 3 you named are all really different to each other. Noir de Noir is very thick and busy, smells like a nutty, slightly choclatey rose to me. Extremely heavy, probably needs cold weather to wear. Une Rose is very strong (it's pure parfum), but it's more straightforward an earthy rose with elements of truffle & patchouli. The Trish McEvoy Rose Oud is a sheer, cedary rose that is very very dry, no sweetness at all. Smells like a dupe of Eau d'Italie Paestum Rose (which is the better of the 2).

  14. Katie! Finished pretty much all your vids and I wish I had seen all these before I went bought this TV…I kinda got sick of it too…now, how do you compare NdN, TrishMcEvoy's BlackRoseOud, and FredericMalle's UneRose? OMG, you opened an whole new smelly world to me! thanks and thumbs up!

@HLOkari Ambre Narguile is more nuanced and sophisticated, but they're in the same ballpark in terms of their approach.

  16. Does this compare to Hermes Ambre Narguile at all?

  17. Right on! Very two dimensional . I got a huge tobacco whiff! And Vanilla. Never moved!

  18. @Ayoob79 thanks for your reply. I somehow missed it earlier

  19. @artisanpassion thanks for your reply. From Katie's description, I would be tempted to say i'd have to agree with you.
