  2. I agree! I feel like I'm the only guy who doesn't love tobacco vanille! On the other hand, Tuscan leather is one of my favorites! :)

Ambre narguile is next on my purchase list. I'm on my 4th sample.

  3. I purchased my first bottle today. I must say at first the scent fir me wasn't what I was expecting. The initial blast was spiced rum. I liked it…but wasn't taken away by it. Then cinnamon came through. It was nice. I must say it has definitely grown on me. I love it. It's become a favorite of mine. Definitely one I will keep in my collection.

  4. A friend gifted me with a sample and omg.. it's divine. My first thought was actually pie, some very well-made pie (carrot or pumpkin? depends) and pipe tobacco. waah, wonderful, delicious, warm, comforting.. do want!
I love Vetiver Tonka as well, maybe both will join my collection one day.

I believe it could work very well for that purpose!

  6. Hello Miss Katie, I was wondering if this could be a sexual fragrance for a 20 year old guy. I want to smell delectable but in a masculine, dreamy way. Could this work for that purpose?

You are going to make some thrift-shopper's day with that donation!! So, that boozy vanilla doesn't register as gourmand? How about Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, which has the same vibe to me?

  8. Interesting review….

I wasn't impressed with this fragrance, at ALL; I don't like the undercurrent (basenotes) that recalls the cedar shavings in the hamster area of a pet store!

Absolutely not GOURMAND in the least, unless you're a rodent! :o)

Not worth the money, for my nose. I received a bottle as a gift; after smelling it, I decided I could at least use it as a room scent for my vestibule, but I just couldn't get past the cheapy-smelling base, so I donated it to a thrift shop.

It does snuggle in for a long, delicious stay, doesn't it?

Now THIS is how you do a gourmand! What a disorienting, delectable fragrance! On me, it just gets better and better as it wears. This really lives up to all of the hype, in my opinion. I'm hooked on this expensive narcotic of a fragrance!

Have you tried Hermessence fragrance Vanille Galante, Katie? I like it a lot and considering a purchase, but a lot of people seem to have mixed feelings about it.

@MsGoddessintraining Omnia is wonderful!! You've got great taste. Check out Safran Troublant by L'Artisan Parfumeur if you get the chance. It hits that creamy saffron that Omnia has.
